Target Groups

Who shall benefit from the project?

The pilot project is targeting 4 main target groups in the field of minerals extraction and processing including the building construction and Non-Vietnamese parties (e.g. foreign investors):

• Public authorities at all administrative levels will get a non-statutory set of tools to manage processes in a sustainable way.
• The project shall enable the extracting and construction industry to apply proper management practices, optimize internal processes and improve environmental standards. This shall drive innovations in cleaner production technologies, rehabilitation of mining areas and recycling of construction waste.
• Research actors shall get comprehensive insights into the fields of Material Flow Analysis and Recycling which are currently less developed in Vietnam.
• Non-governmental organizations which are engaged in sustainable development will get access to profound knowledge and increased participation.
